....glorious!! Thinking and talking of our family cottage as we are working our way through a very strange winter....bit of a non-event here....waiting for it to happen.....let's get it over with and move quickly into the Spring.....the cottage is a place of surrender, peace, and connection to all that is good and basic and earthly.....no phones, computers, hot water, even bathrooms....we bathe in the lake....and watch the stars.....and sit by the fire playing guitars and listening for the loons response to ''Pink Floyd''......
a slow, canoe ride along the shoreline gleans  driftwood, quartz......the odd painted turtle sunbathing......deer foraging......and a great blue heron wafting slowly from tree to tree as we break the calm of the lake in pursuit.......arrrrrh....Spring come quickly....my heart beats faster and the creative juices flow.....back to nature...and back to ourselves.
