wow...how time flies! Where did the last two months go? We are already in December.....just put up our new art exhibition in Toronto today.....can't believe the day has finally arrived!! I am showing across the road from Marc Chagall !! Who knew?.....well...this has been such a busy time for me...hence I have not blogged in ages....busy teaching a lot...and have more students waiting (this is awesome!!) ...will wind down over Christmas and then take a couple of weeks break and catch up on all my other Creative stuff....sewing fibres, knitting scarves(have more wool than I can ever knit and am still frantically buying more....so much wool...not enough time!).....want to try felting and to find time to sew more fibres and fabrics and mixed media pieces.....mixed media lends itself to so much possibility.......and ...back to my show......well, I am proud to say that I have new paintings, new discoveries, and think our show looks pretty good....this is my second joint show in downtown Toronto with my good friend and sister-in-art...Katja Van Den Enden....the gallery is fabulously situated across from the AGO and nestled amongst other contemporary galleries(it also boasts it's own cafe/bistro...so you can hang around for a while and enjoy the art) .....oh yes....in the meantime we also had another fab gig...this time at Chocolate cafe! So many people came out to support us.....it was jam packed and had a wonderful energy....we had a great time .....we are planning our next gig...watch this space!!
