Wow! Time flies when you're having fun! Where did the last month go to?.. ..So....the last day of my joint show in Unionville today( with Katja Van Den Enden and Josee Savaria, our third in this beautiful space).....thank you to all who have visited and supported our newest offerings......and then onto the next show in December at ''Art Square Gallery''.....I realised with great excitement that I would be showing my art work across the road in TORONTO from my biggest inspiration ''Marc Chagall'' at the AGO.....Have you seen this yet?Of course I had to be there on the morning of the first day private showing for members....10 deep and huge line ups, and my patient husband wandering the streets waiting for me.....but, oh......what joy awaited me,when I stood in front of such paintings as the ''The Dance'' with its purest of colours and intention...the joy and vivacity of this wonderful ,humble Russian painter leapt off the canvas at me......this has to be the best feeling in the world....hard to express or compare....I'm thinking I will take one of my paintings off the wall from my show, run in the AGO and have my photograph taken next to Marc Chagalls...think anyone would notice???What an accolade! Also coming up very soon...our next gig...this time at Chocolate cafe on Davis drive on November 12th...so practising lots of music right now.....like art...theres is so much to inspire and pull from and the challenge is to reign it in and focus on what you want to say in your expression.....finding my voice has been a wonderful journey....all part of the growth in my art,the discoveries never fail to surprise me...stay open each day to all the possibilities around you..it makes for an exciting life...
