I'm back!! Not blogged for a month.......a long absence...I have good reason....a much needed vacation. I feel refreshed, revitalised and full of vim and vigour....what a difference a break makes. Stepping back from everything for a while is the best possible advantage for moving forward with more clarity, enthusiasm and peace. I took the time to gather my thoughts and allow each day to unfold as it should....without a plan and only a consideration for having a great day exploring our options.....my journey offered me many insights and surprises and I am now taking time to filter through, the experiences, thoughts and feelings. So, back now to my life, full of fabulous people, friends and students....my Fall courses already underway ...exhibitions creeping up on me...photo below taken by the fabulous Deb Castelane in my studio space during a series of shots taken for my new web(coming soon!!)....feeling inspired and motivated to paint I flung myself into my studio on the weekend with more enthusiasm than intent and threw paint at the canvas in a hurry to express the emotions billowing out of me.....turning my canvas this way and that until it resonated.....and I began working into it with a flurry of activity.....compelled to give full expression through layering and physicality of line.Happy to be back in my space and grateful for the opportunity to create.
